Robins ChildsPlace Director - Denise LibbyGreetings and welcome to our website.

I am truly fortunate to be the Director of “a special place to grow and learn”, ChildsPlace. I recently joined the school when the prior Director left to grow her own family and have been enjoying every moment.

I came to ChildsPlace from Massachusetts where I worked as an administrator as well as a teacher at several schools. I began my career in Early Childhood teaching preschool. After completing my undergraduate degree I decided to explore teaching slightly older children and taught first grade. It didn’t take me long to realize how much I missed helping children through their first special years of school and I returned to teaching pre-kindergarten in a center setting. As I continued to teach at a new school I knew I wanted to do more to help shape high quality programs for young children and their families. I began pursuing a graduate degree in early childhood education and soon accepted an administrative position at a nearby school. I enjoyed the opportunity the position gave me to build a high quality program to meet families’ needs for care, education, and support.

I hold my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Wheelock College and my Master of Education in Early Childhood from Fitchburg State College. My credentials include Lead Teacher Level 4 and Director Level 2 in New Hampshire. In Massachusetts I am Director Level II, Lead Teacher Preschool, and Lead Teacher Infant/Toddler qualified. I am a certified Elementary Educator in New Hampshire and Massachusetts as well as being a certified Early Childhood Educator in Massachusetts.

In April of 2005 ChildsPlace became nationally accredited. We are the 51st school in the state to hold this high honor from NAEYC. I look forward to the opportunity to share more information about our wonderful school with you.

Welcome to ChildsPlace-the very best in Early Childhood Education.
