Programs
ChildsPlace provides custom designed classrooms for our toddler, preschool and kindergarten programs. We offer morning and full day programs which meet two, three or five days per week. Each classroom offers age appropriate curriculum and learning centers. Our curriculum present creative and informative thematic units that are incorporated throughout the classroom’s learning centers and presented during teacher directed activities.
Our specialized learning centers allow each child to be involved in an environment that builds self-esteem and encourages personal development. Although each classroom is designed for a specific age group, there is also a sense of continuity as each child progresses from one classroom to the next. Each classroom’s curriculum builds on the previous level for consistent development towards the maximum of each child’s capacity to learn.
Our indoor gymnasium provides an inviting space for gross motor, music and movement activities. A slide, tunnels, balls, mats for rolling, a balance beam, riding toys, hoola-hoops, a basketball net and a see saw are some of the equipment available. Our gymnasium space is especially nice to have when the children aren’t able to go outside due to inclement weather.
Our gymnasium is also a space where children, parents and teachers gather for special school presentations. Puppet shows, musical presentations, magic shows and story tellers are presented by professional entertainers. It’s a special time for teachers, children, siblings and parents to enjoy together.
Our two large fenced playgrounds are designed for safe, exciting, gross motor and dramatic play experiences. Each age group has a designated time to use their playground. Swing sets, a large wooden train, a treehouse, an enormous wooden pick up truck, a two story wooden castle, see saws, sandboxes and a variety of trucks and outdoor toys can be found on our exciting playgrounds. We even have a hill for sledding in the winter !

Our teachers are educated, experienced, caring early childhood professionals. They are dedicated to their profession and enjoy working with children. Our teachers are anxious to work with parents to provide a supportive, rich and fulfilling learning experience for their children.
The top priority of our teachers is to provide a safe, loving, supportive environment for your child. Our goal is to offer your child the special love and guidance that will encourage them to grow and learn within an enriched educational environment. Your child’s day will be filled with opportunities for personal exploration and growth.
We place special emphasis on formal and informal conferences and encourage daily parent - teacher communication to ensure we are effectively meeting the needs of your child. Our teachers are always available when you and your child arrive in the morning. We want the transition from home to school to be a positive and enjoyable morning routine. Teachers look forward to sharing your child’s activities and accomplishments with you when you arrive at pick up time.
Our Parent Board in each classroom provides the following : our “Activities for the Week” highlighting the areas of development that each activity addresses; our “Learning Centers” materials and themes for the week; a “Daily Note” from our teachers sharing additional information about the classroom’s adventures; weekly menus of our breakfast, lunch and snacks; and important school notices, news and events.
